In any of our cars, smoking is not allowed, nor are any pets or other animals.  Customers are not allowed to drive our vehicles.  No more than 4 passengers are allowed at any one time.

We reserve the right to refuse to carry passengers who are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or abusive to our staff. If a passenger is refused carriage no refund and no compensation will be given.

The customer is responsible for any damage the passengers cause to the interior or exterior of the vehicle. Damage to the vehicle in any way by passengers will be charged at the full cost of reinstating the vehicle to its original appearance. As such, the cost of valeting, repair, or reinstatement, together with consequential loss of business will be charged to the customer within 7 days of the hire period. N.B. It is advisable therefore that passengers do not consume food or drink whilst in the vehicle.

Customers will be deemed to have accepted these terms of business upon payment of the booking fee, or by confirmation of the booking in writing, or both. Consequently, having made a contract, if extra charges as set out herein are not paid within 7 days of being properly demanded, legal action against the Customer will be taken to seek redress.

Limitation of Liability
We do not accept liability for missed flights/events, loss or damage to passengers possessions, consequential losses, nor do we award refunds or compensation in the event of late arrival due to circumstances beyond our control. The latter includes, but is not limited to: adverse weather conditions, delays caused by traffic accidents, traffic congestion, vehicle breakdown.

In the event of a vehicle breakdown we will, entirely at our own discretion, attempt to organise some form of alternative transport, of the most appropriate sort as may be available, so as to meet the immediate travel needs of the passenger(s).

The Vehicle
Henrietta was born in 1979 when the laws of the road were slightly different, e.g, mandatory rear seatbelts had not been introduced.  The car is hired in its original specification format in all respects and is fully legal. If Customers or their beneficiary passengers find this unacceptable after the hire has commenced, regrettably the Customer cannot be refunded any payment.

Definitions
In these terms and conditions, the Customer means the legal entity (person or organisation) by or on behalf of whom the hire is made. The Passenger means the individual or group of individuals who are carried during the Hire. (This may or may not include the Customer.) The term “we” or “us” means Mr.Jones as a trading entity of Mr.S.P.Jones. Henrietta is the name given to the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II motorcar. Hire means the process of providing and preparing the vehicle, driving to the appointed place of collection of the Passenger(s) driving the Passenger(s) to the places agreed and confirmed in the quotation, and returning the vehicle to its base. Providing other goods, services, or facilities, whether chargeable or not, may also take place at the same time as Hire.

Mileage
Mileage is estimated on Tom-Tom (satellite navigation) calculations of “fastest route” (which is not the same as “shortest route”) and we reserve the right to use any route necessary to deliver the service in the most appropriate manner depending upon whether the priority is time or pleasure.  (N.B. Tom-Tom will also be used to alert us of traffic congestions and advise of alternative faster routes) The actual mileage to be charged is the difference between the odometer readings at the beginning and end of the hire.

Prices are given in £GBP and include VAT.

A post completion statement/invoice showing VAT will be provided when the final account has been settled.  Upon request, a receipt for any pre-hire payment can also be provided.
